Born and raised in Southern California, I studied business and economics at the University of California at Santa Barbara. After graduation, I decided to take a different path than I originally intended. Instead of pursuing business, I attended culinary school. While working as a chef, I started a side e-commerce business that took off! This sudden success prompted me to walk away from the culinary world. From there, I successfully ran that business for 16 years.

I’ve always strived to live a sustainable lifestyle, but my passion for it reached a new level when my daughter came into the world in 2013. Her birth completely changed my perspective on life and the future of the planet, and I was more committed than ever to doing my part to protect the environment.

Here’s how I discovered Powur and never looked back.

The stars truly aligned for me in 2020 when I was introduced to Powur by my friend Stephen Ray. I had recently left my business in December 2019 and had a family to support with no stable income. The pandemic hit, and I was lost. Thankfully, Powur came into my life and pushed me outside my comfort zone in a way I never thought possible. I was driven by my “why” — a desire to accelerate the clean energy movement and support my family while doing it. By keeping my sights on that goal, I’ve been able to help more than 100+ families go solar in less than three years. It’s been an incredible, rewarding journey — and it’s a movement that is just getting started!
